Justine Johnson was arrested for stabbing her 3-year-old daughter, Sutton Mosser, to death. Johnson told police that SpongeBob told her to commit the murder.
Around 4:00am, Johnson’s brother had found a trash bag in his sister’s Michigan house that had a foot sticking out of it.
He immediately called the police. The day prior the brother had been asking Johnson where her daughter was and she told him to “mind his business.”
When police responded to the home, they confirmed it was the body of a deceased child. Johnson was not in the home.
Police located her at 8:30am “walking on railroad tracks.” When she was told that her child was dead, she showed no reaction and stated she did not want to talk about it. Police arrested Johnson.
While in prison, Johnson was interviewed by a CPS investigator. Johnson told her that SpongeBob told her to kill her daughter.
Which she did by stabbing her torso multiple times. According to the CPS investigator, Johnson was suffering from hallucinations due to heroin withdrawals and not sleeping.
Johnson is being held without bail and is awaiting court proceedings.
