A judge sentences a man to life in prison for molesting three small children plus 20 years for child pornography after a guilty plea.
The case involves a 5 year old girl, a 7 year old boy and a 10 year old girl.
The 5 year old girl told her mother in March of 2021 that she did adult things with a man the family knew, named Hylan Sweat.
The mother immediately reported it to police.
The girl gave details of being raped and molested by Sweat and him making her watch porn and also of him taking nude photos and videos of the girl.
Based on her interview, two other children were also interviewed.
The boy said Sweat also raped him and molested him, starting when the victim was 6 and made the boy look at porn and took photos of the boy.
Documents say the boy told the interviewers, “he hates himself.”
The older girl said the molestation happened when she was younger and she too was made to watch porn, including animals having sex and children having sex.
When a relative who knew about the abuse was asked why she hadn’t reported it, she said she didn’t know she needed to.
(Note: OK has a law that says ANY person who suspects a child is being abused, must report it.)
Investigators found child porn on Sweat’s phone and found he searched for porn constantly, including things like “rape in porn,” “biteen,” and “an elementary school nympho.”
While in jail, prosecutors say Sweat told someone he was mad he was being charged and made that OK had a “stupid little law” and had he lived in CA or several other states, he’d be free.
Also, while in jail, prosecutors say Sweat tried to get a friend to send Sweat anime porn.
Prosecutors say Sweat fails to realize these crimes not only violate a child’s body but also mutilates their innocence and imprints them with trauma that can affect them, their entire lives.
