HOMICIDE VICTIM IDENTIFIED
RawNews1st – Chambers County Detectives have positively identified the victim in the homicide investigation on FM 1405, in Chambers County as Jose Montemayor, 38, of Baytown, Texas.
Preliminary investigation leads Detectives to believe that Montemayor was murdered with a firearm in another jurisdiction and his body dumped in Chambers County. Montemayor was also discovered to have ties with the gang Tango Blast, out of the Baytown area.
Detectives are asking anyone with information regarding Montemayor’s whereabouts in the days prior to October 25, 2022, to contact the Chambers County Sheriff’s Office at 409.267.2500
