Owasso man pleads guilty to voluntary manslaughter in federal court.
Jordan Kuykendall pleaded guilty to killing his step-father on May 17th, 2020.
Federal prosecutors say in his plea agreement, Kuykendall admitted he got into an argument with his stepfather, Charles Botts, and stabbed him.
They say the step-father was trying to stop Kuykendall, who was intoxicated and assaulting his mother.
The step-father pulled Kuykendall off the mother and pinned the young man to the floor.
When the step-father released Kuykendall and walked to his bedroom, Kuykendall followed and stabbed the step-father.
Kuykendall will be sentenced at a later date.
