Johnsonville is recalling some cheddar bratwurst packages that include five pieces of sausage and the package code B9FOD.
The product has establishment number “Est. 1647” on the front of the label.
The packages may contain foreign material, specifically hard plastic.
Approximately 22,672 lbs. of the product is included in the recall.

The product may be contaminated with foreign material, specifically hard plastic, according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service.
Authorities are concerned the product may be in consumers’ freezers. If you’ve bought the affected package, you’re urged not to eat it.
These products should be thrown away or returned to the place of purchase.
