John Maxwell, 30, shot the 23-year-old female victim: Attempt Murder

RawNews1st – In reference to the shooting that occurred on June 26, 2022, in the 2500 block of Liberty Heights Avenue, investigators have arrested 30-year-old John Maxwell Holland, of Baltimore.
Investigators believe Holland shot the 23-year-old female victim, leaving her critically injured, following a dispute. Investigators also later located a 19-year-old female victim suffering from a graze wound that was also injured in that same shooting.
On August 5, 2022, Warrant Apprehension detectives arrested repeat violent offender, John Maxwell Holland, while in the 600 block of North Highland Avenue.
Detectives transported Holland to Central Booking Intake Facility where he has been charged with attempted 1st degree murder and 1st degree assault.
An off-duty police officer is dead after they were shot in a parking lot in Downey.

Northwestern District shooting investigation
On June 26, 2022, at approximately 4:03 a.m., officers in the vicinity of Mondawmin Mall responded to the 2500 block of Liberty Heights Avenue for a report of a shooting.
Inside a dwelling at that address, officers located a 23-year-old female suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. She was transported to an area hospital.
Northwestern District Detectives are investigating and are asking anyone with information to call 410-396-2466.
