He is in the Pawnee County jail, accused of sexually abusing a 6 year old girl he knows.
Jeremy Keeling is a convicted sex offender who has spent time in federal prison for child pornography.
Now, he’s been charged in Pawnee County with child rape and other related charges.The affidavit says, during a forensic interview with the victim, she told investigators Keeling would buy her toys to “take care of him” and told her not to tell anyone because he would go to jail.
He was arrested in Tulsa today, by U.S. Marshals and Pawnee County deputies.
Pawnee County Sheriff Darrin Varnell says, “The detail in which this child spoke about her assault was chilling, disturbing, and frankly heartbreaking.
I can’t imagine what this child went through and then to have the courage to get help, she is a real hero.”
The Pawnee County Sheriff commended the County Commissioners for funding a full time investigator, that allows the sheriff’s office to focus on these types of cases.
Keeling was convicted in 2007 in federal court of having child pornography and sentenced to 4 years in federal prison.
