Jan 6 committee reveals interview with Ray Epps
A spox for the select committee purportedly said Epps stated, “he was not employed by, working with, or acting at the direction of any enforcement agency on January 5 or 6.”
A source revealed to Poltico’s Kyle Cheney that the Epps interview occurred in November last year – with Epps also reportedly confirming he has “never been an informant for the FBI or any other law enforcement agency.”
Epps, a marine veteran, was seen on video urging the crowd to enter the US Capitol building on Jan 6 with some Conservatives theorizing he was an FBI plant.
