OSBI Agents arrest a man West of Lawton, accused of rape and child pornography.
They say the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children got a cyber tip in late 2020 from a social media platform that had identified two uploaded files as child pornography and those files were tied to an IP address in Mangum, OK.
On July 29th 2021, several agencies served a search warrant at a home and arrested James Pierro, III.
That investigation continued and now, several additional charges have been added to Pierro, who has remained in jail.
Pierro now faces 9 felonies: 4 counts of rape, plus, 1 count of rape by instrumentation, 1 count of lewd/indecent acts to a child under 16, participation in child pornography, possession of child pornography and violation of the OK computer crimes act.
These are charges, not a conviction.
