Fire reported at Hampton University in Hampton, Virginia; multiple people reportedly trapped inside elevator.
A two-alarm fire has broken out Monday afternoon at a building on the Hampton University campus, Hampton Division of Fire & Rescue said.
James Parker, a spokesperson for the university, said the building was evacuated and no one has been hurt. Hampton Fire & Rescue is currently working to put out the fire.
