While operating as an unregistered foreign agent and 6 banks filing over 170 suspicious activity reports with the Treasury, accusing him of money laundering and human trafficking.
Rep. Jim Jordan points out that the Justice Department’s prosecutors acknowledged the unprecedented nature of the ‘slap on the wrist’ plea agreement proposed for Hunter Biden, which would have resulted in no jail time despite charges of tax fraud and lying on a gun form.
Note: After the deal collapsed, Hunter Biden entered a not guilty plea.
The judge, Maryellen Noreika, deferred the decision on the plea deal, saying “you are telling me to rubber stamp the agreement.”
