
Italy to boost funding for compensation over vaccine side effects
Matteo Salvini’s League Party is pushing to expand the country’s vaccination compensation fund to include people who experience side effects to Covid jabs. (Bloomberg)
The party proposes to increase the amount of funding by $57 million, to cover people who were advised but not required to get vaccinated.
The government created the program in 1992, to compensate Italians harmed by mandatory vaccines.
