Islamic State (ISIS) claims responsibility for the deadly terror attack in Moscow, Russia.
At least 40 people were killed and more than 100 wounded in an attack on a Moscow concert hall Friday, Russian officials said, marking one of the deadliest assaults in recent history in Russia and coming just two weeks after U.S. officials warned of a looming terrorist attack on the Russian capital.
Russian officials quickly announced they’re investigating the incident as terrorism.
“According to preliminary data, as a result of the terrorist attack at the Crocus City Hall building, 40 people were killed and over 100 were injured,” the country’s Federal Security Service, or FSB, said in a statement, according to state-run media.
