Around 9:51 p.m., police say a shooting happened in the 11000 block of North Harrells Ferry Rd. in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
Investigators said when they arrived, they found a man sitting inside his vehicle suffering from a gunshot wound. He was taken to a nearby hospital where he later died from his injuries.
The victim was identified as 26-year-old Dauntre Alvis.
