On January 24, around 5 a.m., investigators found a man stabbed to death and partially clothed in the parking lot of Advantages Apartments in Jackson, Mississippi.
The victim was identified as 57-year-old DeAngelo Henderson.
Henderson’s 2016 Mercedes was missing from the scene, but license plate cameras pinged on the vehicle at about 3 a.m. in Clinton, Wade said.
The chief said the Mercedes was found about 9:30 a.m. at a motel on Boling Street in Jackson.
The suspect, 31-year-old Quadriana Lyles, was found inside one of the motel rooms. She was arrested and charged with capital murder.
The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information about the case is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 601-355-TIPS.
