Inside-Outside Trading!? TikTok investors COPY Pelosi & Co!
TikTok users have stumbled across an unusual investor tip: copy House speaker Nancy Pelosi – or more accurately her husband. They might have to be quick to cash in though, as legislation looks to ban lawmakers from owning personal stocks.
Pelosi herself doesn’t own stocks, but her husband’s company Iris exploited a loophole law that obliged lawmakers to disclose investments by them or spouses by publishing trades
“One of the perks of being a member of Congress, especially from the late 1800s on, was to be able to trade on insider information, and that has got to come to an end,” said Congressman Raja Krishnamoorthi.
