RawNews1st – Recently discovered ‘Better Origin‘, an UK company producing mobile insect farms for use in animal agriculture.
Their product is a shipping container with AI & automated systems that manage the production of food scraps into larvae feed.
These larvae grow full sized and are harvested to replace soy / grain feeds.
The use of the land for larvae production is more efficient in comparison.
There are also benefits to the health of the animals, showing improvements in behavior, feather count, and egg production.
However I definitely do not agree with the larvae being processed for consumption for humans, as this company has suggested as a use – along with their alignment with carbon agendas and reliance on AI.
