RawNews1st – During a continued investigation by the Fayetteville Police Department’s Central Community Empowerment Response Team (CERT), a Fayetteville male that was arrested in December of 2022 and charged with multiple narcotic violations was arrested again on May 4, 2023 for his continued illegal activity.
On December 13, 2022 the FPD’s Central CERT Team along with FPD’s Violent Criminal Apprehension Team arrested Kenneth Pomeroy (White male, 19 years old) at his residence along the 1200 block of Kienast Dr. Pomeroy was wanted for outstanding warrants.
Pomeroy was also the subject of a lengthy narcotic investigation initiated by the Central CERT Team.
The team conducted search warrants at Pomeroy’s residence that resulted in the seizure of five firearms, fentanyl and U.S. currency.
Kenneth Pomeroy was charged with two counts of Trafficking Fentanyl, Possession with Intent to Sale and Deliver Marijuana, Manufacturing Schedule I CS, Maintaining a Dwelling, Maintaining a Vehicle, and Felony Conspiracy.
Pomeroy was placed on an FPD electronic monitor stemming from previous charges.
On May 4, 2023 the Central CERT Team’s continuing investigation revealed Pomeroy was continuing his narcotic sales along the 1200 block of Berkshire Rd in Fayetteville.
This illegal activity took place while he was on the FPD electronic monitor.
The CERT Team along with the assistance of other specialized units placed Pomeroy into custody and executed a search warrant at his residence. During the search warrant the following items were seized:
4 firearms
3 Glock auto-sear switches
1,452 rounds of ammunition
42 bindles of Fentanyl
57 Xanax pills
$3,203.00 US currency
Kenneth Pomeroy was charged with Trafficking Fentanyl (2 Counts), Possession with Intent to Manufacture, Sell and Deliver Schedule IV Controlled Substances, Felony Maintain a Residence for Controlled Substances, and Possession of a Weapon of Mass Destruction (3 Counts).
Pomeroy is currently being held in the Cumberland County Detention Center under a $650,000.00 secured bond.
