”Kellyanne Conway has hit out at President Biden’s DEMAND that 18 Trump-appointed heads of military advisory boards resign, or be fired – thus breaking a tradition of bipartisanship, branding the purge “petty and political… if not personal”.
“Your decision is disappointing but understandable given the need to distract from a news cycle that has you mired in multiple self-inflicted crises,” her statement read.
Jonathan Hiller, a member of the Naval Academy Board, and former Trump WH Press Sec Sean Spicer are among the big names culled, but they plan to file legal action in protest.
Current WH Press Sec Jen Psaki had earlier explained Biden’s objective is to have nominees that are “qualified to serve” on the boards and “who are aligned” with the president’s values.
