The Detroit Police Department needs assistance in identifying and locating a suspect in connection to a non-fatal shooting that occurred at Poe St. and W. Grand Blvd.
Preliminary on June 13, 2021 at approximately 9:55 p.m. the victim arrived at a store in a white Jeep, parked, and went inside the store.
While inside, a black Nissan, occupied by the suspect and a driver, pulled up to the location and parked next to the victim’s car.
Upon the victim’s return to his vehicle, the suspect exited his vehicle and attempted to rob the victim at gunpoint.
A struggle ensued, resulting in the suspect shooting the victim multiple times, as he attempted to get away. The suspect then returns to his vehicle and flees with the driver.
The victim is privately conveyed to the hospital for treatment. Detroit Police needs your assistance in locating the suspect and driver.
