“There’s a non-trivial chance that [Frances] Haugen… will end up with more vast personal wealth from her short stint at the company than almost anyone else ever affiliated with it,” journalist Glenn Greenwald pointed out on Twitter last month.
The SEC program has paid out around $1 BILLION since its inception, with the whistleblower eligible to 10-30% of monetary actions brought by the SEC and related actions by law enforcement authorities.
