Tuesday night, hundreds of teens from Chicago gathered at a gas station in Bronzeville for another teen takeover.
Near East 31st Street and South Michigan Avenue, the teens broke windows and looted a store.
Vanessa Boyd stated, “It was really horrible.” The store had been looted by them.
Boyd and other residents of Bronzeville characterized the chaotic scene as mischief and mayhem.
Dennis Jones stated, “There were a lot of kids out here, and they were all in the gas station causing a mess.”
