HOMICIDE near Admiral and Florence
On 1/5/2022 around 10:30 p.m., officers were called out to a shooting near Admiral Pl. and Florence Ave.
Officers found the male victim on the porch of the house with a gunshot wound.
He was transported to the hospital in critical condition, and he died from his injuries around 5:00 this morning.
Through the investigation, we’ve learned the victim and a friend arrived at the home last night. They were approached by three people. An altercation broke out, and that led up to the shooting.
The investigation is ongoing and detectives are working to identify a possible suspect or suspects.
