The Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office arrested Quentin Raynal Respers (32) of Sacramento County for the murder of Abrina Gabriella Abraham (38).
Respers is known to law enforcement and is on Formal Searchable Probation until 2023 in connection with a 2017 firearm case, Possession of a Concealed Firearm in a Vehicle and Unregistered Firearm with Ammunition.
Respers is being held in the Sacramento County Main Jail without bail. There are no outstanding suspects. No further information is available at this time.
On Friday, June 24, 2022, at approximately 3:44 a.m., the Sheriff’s Communications Center received a call in the 2800 block of El Centro Road regarding a shooting that had just occurred.
The caller advised a female subject had been shot inside of the business and was lying on the floor.
Deputies responded and located an adult female suffering from at least one gunshot wound. Deputies performed life-saving measures while awaiting Sacramento Metro Fire.
Fire personnel arrived a short time later, and transported the victim to a local hospital where she was pronounced deceased hours later.
Homicide detectives and Crime Scene investigators responded to the scene, interviewed witnesses and gathered evidence.
It is unclear what led up to the incident, however, it is believed that the victim and the suspect knew each other and that the suspect is an employee of the business where this crime occurred. No further information or suspect information is available at this time.
