KPD Homicide investigators are asking anyone with information on the car, a blue 2005 Dodge Avenger, pictured below to contact East Tennessee Valley Crime Stoppers.
It is believed this car was involved in the homicide that occurred on June 7th in the 2400 block of Center Avenue. This car may have been sold or abandoned in the greater Knox County area.
Update
The victim from the June 7 shooting in the 2400 block of Center Avenue at around 7:30 PM has been identified as Emory Johnson, age 25 of Knoxville.
On June 7, 2023, at approximately 7:38 PM Knoxville Police Officers responded to a shooting call in the 2400 block of Center Avenue where a male was found suffering from at least one gunshot wound.
Life saving measures were attempted, however, he was pronounced deceased at the scene.
