MEMPHIS, TN – Officers responded to the area of James Road and Austin Peay Highway in reference to a shooting.
Officers located victim Deshaundra Lee-Ward who had been shot while in her white Jeep Commander. She was transported to the hospital, where she was later pronounced deceased.
Officers retrieved video surveillance that showed a white Nissan Maxima with a black roof pulled alongside the passenger side of the Jeep Commander.
Occupants of the Nissan Maxima fired shots into the Jeep Commander before fleeing the scene West on James Road.
The suspect vehicle is described as a white Nissan Maxima with a black roof.
Attached are the pictures of the suspect’s vehicle.
