He Shot His Father And Uncle. Now He’s Charged With Murder.
RawNews1st – Deputies responded to reports of a shooting at a residence on Garrison Grove Drive in Simpsonville, South Carolina, where two family members had been shot during a domestic dispute. Upon arrival, they found two men suffering from gunshot wounds. Both victims were transported to Greenville Memorial Hospital with serious injuries. One of the men was later pronounced dead at the hospital after suffering a gunshot wound.
Investigators say the shooting happened after an argument inside the home escalated. Authorities allege that 19-year-old Isaiah Kendall Rapley shot both his father and his uncle during the dispute. His father survived the shooting but was seriously injured. Deputies took Rapley into custody at the scene following the incident.
Isaiah Rapley has been charged with murder, attempted murder, and two counts of possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime in connection with the shooting.
On March 7, during a bond hearing a magistrate judge denied bond on all charges and ordered Isaiah Rapley to have no contact with the attempted murder victim or other family members involved in the case.
Isaiah Rapley remains in custody at the Greenville County Detention Center as the investigation continues.
