On February 23, 2026, Adan Tzoyohua Panzo pleaded guilty to two counts of malice murder in connection with the March 30, 2024 deaths of his daughters in Preston, Georgia. On February 27, 2026, the Southwestern Judicial Circuit District Attorney’s Office announced that Panzo was sentenced to two consecutive life sentences without the possibility of parole.
On March 30, 2024, first responders arrived at a home on Millard Kennedy Road in Preston, Georgia, after reports of a vehicle on fire. After extinguishing the flames, authorities discovered Panzo’s daughters, 3-year-old Esli and 1-year-old Itzel, deceased inside the vehicle.
Investigators determined that Panzo set the vehicle on fire during a domestic dispute with his wife.
Panzo was initially charged with felony murder, malice murder, and arson. He previously entered a not guilty plea before later pleading guilty to two counts of malice murder.
He will serve two consecutive life sentences without the possibility of parole.
