A guy was shot during a gunfight near the Lake View area on Friday night.
The 35-year-old was arguing with another individual when a gray automobile came up in the 2700 block of North Hoyne Avenue at 11:35 p.m., according to police.
They both took out firearms and began firing. He was shot in the abdomen and sent to Illinois Masonic Hospital, where he was reported in excellent condition.
As Area Three detectives do their investigation, no one is in jail.
