The gunman who shot two people, one fatally, at a Romeoville entertainment center on Friday night has been identified by police.
Romeoville police officers responded to Scene75 Entertainment, located at 460 S. Weber Rd., for a report of a shooting around 9 p.m.
According to police, a suspect fired shots after a verbal altercation.
A 19-year-old Chicago man was shot and taken to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
A 16-year-old Chicago resident was also shot and was taken to a nearby hospital in stable condition.
Around 10:08 p.m., Illinois State Police located the suspect vehicle and initiated a traffic stop on Interstate 80 eastbound near Torrence Avenue in Lansing.
According to ISP, the vehicle came to a halt and the driver and passenger were taken into custody.
At the time of the shooting, the suspect was not inside the vehicle.
The gunman has been identified, but not located, according to police. The only information police have about the suspect is that he or she is from Chicago.
The police believe this is an isolated incident.
