A dad and his two-year-old daughter have died in a horror car crash with police having launched a murder probe into the toddler’s death.
Ashley Henry, 35, and Oria Henry were travelling in a Blue Nissan Qashqai, which collided with a lorry in Anwick, Lincolnshire, on Sunday at around 2.45pm.
Both were declared dead at the scene.
Lincolnshire Police say, after “careful consideration”, it is now treating Oria’s death as a murder investigation.
It is unclear if anyone in the lorry has been seriously injured.
Oria’s mother Rachael shared her grief on her open Facebook page today.
She made her profile picture that of herself and a toddler. She also shared Lincolnshire Police’s Facebook post of their statement, writing “My baby” with a crying emoji and a broken heart emoji.
The open post has received a string of messages from friends and family, including many who paid tribute.
One woman, who also appears to be a mum, posted: “I cannot imagine the pain you are feeling right now. My heart breaks for you.”
Another said: “You’ve been in my mind all day today and yesterday. I can’t begin to imagine what you’re going through and having to find a new way of living.
“You have terrific fight and dignity and beauty inside and out, and I can only imagine how much your daughter Oria was so adored by you and your family.”
Another friend shared: “My heart really bleeds for you, I could never imagine the pain you must be feeling.”
