TPD’s Fugitive Squad arrests a man charged with a 2007 murder.
Records show a warrant for Christopher Price, aka “Quarter Top”,
was issued 15 years later in 2022.
Police say they found Price last night on East Xyler.
The affidavit in the case says Price and a couple of buddies, who were Hoover Crips, were at an East Tulsa club and got into an argument with the victim, Terrance Buckner and some his buddies, who were Bloods.
It says the argument continued after the club at a gas station and then, shots were fired from two different vehicles at Buckner’s truck as he was getting onto Highway 169.
It says the case went stale until 2021 when a witness came forward with additional and detailed information.
It says a few days after the shooting, police found Price in a stolen vehicle and recovered a .40 caliber handgun from him.
In 2022, that handgun was tested and police say it was a match for the shell casings found at the murder scene and that’s what led to the warrant being issued for Price for murder, 2 counts of shooting with intent to kill and 1 count of shooting from a vehicle.
Records show, after the murder, Price was charged in 2010 with having a gun and drugs and in 2011, was sentenced to 3 years in prison.
These current charges, are not a conviction.
