Oklahoma – A man who just got out of prison on August 1st, is back in jail, now accused of murder.
Tulsa’s Fugitive squad arrested Christopher Polhamus this afternoon for a home break-in and murder that happened yesterday.
Police say Polhamus was one of three men who broke into a home yesterday while Mitchell Roberts was inside asleep.
Police say when Roberts got up to see who was in his house, he was shot and killed.
Records show Polhamus has these previous convictions:
2012: convicted in Tulsa County of 2 counts of larceny from a retailer; 2 year deferred sentence, later violated the rules of that sentence.
2013: convicted in Tulsa County of meth; 3 year prison sentence
2014: convicted in Delaware County of 2 counts larceny of automobile, assault with intent to commit a felony and got 3 years in prison and 17 years suspended; later broke the rules of the suspended sentence.
2016: convicted in Creek County of distributing drugs and got a 12 year suspended sentence and ordered to drug court; later violated the rules of that suspended sentence by catching a new case.
2018: convicted in Tulsa County of unauthorized use of automobile, running from police with a crash, larceny, obstruction, having a gun as a felon, distributing guns and leave the scene of a crash; sentenced in 2019 to six years in prison; released August 1, 2021.
He’s now booked into Tulsa County jail for murder, having a gun as a felon and burglary.
