France condemns rocket hit on Majdal Shams, calls for restraint
France condemned on Sunday the earlier rocket attack in the Druze village of Majdal Shams in the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights, and called on all parties to exercise restraint.
“France condemns in the strongest possible terms the attack which hit the Druze community in Majdal Shams,” said a statement from the French foreign ministry.
“France demands that everything possible be done to avoid a new military escalation and we will continue work with the relevant parties on this,” it added.
