At approximately 7:02 am, Fort Myers Police Officers responded to 3320 Handy Court in reference to an adult female with a gunshot wound to the upper thigh.
The female was transported to local hospital where she succumbed to her injuries.
Fort Myers Police Homicide Detectives have assumed the investigation are seeking public assistance in locating the pictured Dodge Durango and the identities of the subjects within.
The Durango was seen traveling Northbound on Henderson following the incident.
