Five kids, about 11 and 12 years old, went into a storm drain that runs under West Brighton’s Clove Lakes Park and got lost yesterday.
They called 911 and emergency personnel responded and rescued them near the Staten Island Zoo.
The kids and one firefighter were taken to a hospital for evaluation as a precaution, but all are expected to be OK.
