Female Arrested For Armed Robbery and Assault with a Deadly Weapon
On Friday, Paramount Deputies responded to Walmart located on the 14500 block of Lakewood Blvd, regarding a robbery in progress. Responding deputies were told the suspect, a female with blue hair, ran into a nearby grocery store after the robbery and was attempting to hide.
They were also told the suspect was armed with a knife and injured a Walmart loss prevention employee during the robbery.
Deputies searched the grocery store and located the suspect.
When deputies searched the suspect, they located the knife inside one of her shoes. The stolen items were also located and returned to Walmart employees.
The suspect was arrested for armed robbery and assault with a deadly weapon, she was booked at Lakewood station jail. The suspect also had two outstanding warrants.
Great job to the deputies for their quick response and to the community members that helped the deputies locate the suspect.
