FBI raids premises used by Chinese payment-terminal company
US agencies searched Florida premises used by Pax Technology “in furtherance of a federal investigation,” the FBI said.
Tech. journalist Brian Krebs told the BBC a source of his alleged a US payment processor claimed “Pax terminals were being used both as a malware ‘dropper’,” and used for “staging attacks and collecting information.”
The company said no allegation of wrongdoing had been made and that “Pax Technology takes security very seriously.”
