FBI are seeking any information regarding the murders of Michael, Mary & Jennifer Short.
There is currently a $62,500 REWARD offered for information leading to an arrest & conviction.
On August 15, 2002 at approximately 9:00 AM, the bodies of Michael & Mary Short were discovered in their Bassett, VA home. Michael was found on the couch inside of the attached garage of the home with an apparent gun shot wound to his head.
Mary Short was found lying in her bed, also with a gun shot wound. Their then 9 year old daughter Jennifer Short was not located in the home.
Her remains were located on September 25, 2002 along a stream bed off of Grogan Road in Stoneville, NC. Her cause of death was determined to be from a gun shot wound to the head.
Law Enforcement continues to seek the public’s assistance in locating the suspect(s) involved in their murders.
