Family Found Dead After Home Shooting: New Jersey.
Investigators in the city are piecing together what happened to the family of four before the fatal shots were fired Sunday morning.
Authorities responding to the family’s Linden home off Chatham Place around 9:30 a.m. found three of the victims dead and a fourth, one of the children, still alive but in critical condition.
Law enforcement sources with knowledge of the case believe the father fired upon his wife and kids before turning the gun on himself.
The teen was rushed to Newark University Hospital, but ultimately died from injuries sustained in the shooting hours later, officials confirmed. The mayor said the teenagers were 13 and 14 years old.
