Media Release-Equivocal Death
Hidalgo County Sheriff’s Office Deputies were dispatched to the area of Mile 16 Road and FM 88 Road in rural Elsa, Texas in reference to an Equivocal Death.
Upon arrival, Deputies observed the body of a lifeless male who was in an advanced state of decomposition.
Investigator’s are currently on scene investigating this case. Due to the advanced state of decomposition investigator’s will be awaiting DNA results.
This is an ongoing, active investigation. We encourage witnesses with any additional information regarding this case to come forward.
