Ecuador prisons BLOODBATH: Gang wars kill 116, 10 DECAPITATED in a night of violence!
Brutal gang wars involving gunfire, explosions and knives in Ecuador’s Penitenciaria del Litoral between proxy gangs allegedly loyal to Mexican drug cartels exploded on Tuesday – with bodies still being discovered on Wednesday.
The death toll has now reached a record 116, making it the deadliest day in the country’s prison history, as the government sent in armoured vehicles and soldiers to retake control Tuesday evening.
Former military intelligence director Col. Mario Pazmino claimed the violence showed transnational organized crime had infiltrated the prisons, citing Mexico’s Sinaloa and Jalisco New Generation cartels as operating through local gangs.
