Phoenix – Ebony Willis 25 years of age was arrested on Monday in connection with a shooting at the Radisson Hotel Phoenix Airport that left one man dead and one man critically injured over the weekend.Â
Officers responded to the shooting at about 5 a.m. and found two men with gunshot wounds at the scene, said Phoenix police spokesperson Sgt. Andy Williams.Â
The other man was transported to a local hospital for treatment, while 27-year-old Dallas Summers was pronounced dead at the scene. All three people entered the Radisson Hotel at about 3:30 a.m. on Sunday and made their way to Room 733. The man sent a photograph to his girlfriend of Willis on Summers’ lap.Â
Witnesses told police they heard yelling and an argument moments before the shooting, according to Williams.Â
The man sent a photograph to his girlfriend of Willis on Summers’ lap. Prior to sending the photograph to his girlfriend, the two men were out at a Scottsdale club.
The injured man fled the room and collapsed on the floor of the lobby, leaving a trail of blood from the staircase down to reception. An employee called 911 and notified police. Â
Multiple gunshots were heard coming from the seventh floor at about 5 a.m. Video surveillance recovered from the scene shows Willis fleeing the room with only one glittery sandal on her left foot.Â
In the room, police located the other glittery sandal, a pair of blue jeans, identification cards for both victims and a tag for a 2020 blue Chevrolet Malibu and shell casings.Â
Police later located Willis driving her mother’s blue Chevrolet Malibu rental car. In an interview with police, Willis denied ever knowing the men or staying in a hotel room with them even after she was shown a picture of herself exiting the premises.Â
