The plume of combustion products from the demolition made has created a second regional ecodisaster. Here I show according to NOAA where it went and explore the combustion products that result.
The Fallout from the Intentional Demolition
I managed to retrieve from the NOAA website the following .gif files using their HYSPLIT model resource. We have Concentration, Deposition, and Particle Positions images.
These images look very different from the NOAA image that was circulating earlier from 2-3 days after the derailment.
