Early-Morning Shooting Leads To Police Investigating

RawNews1st – The Knoxville Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred in the 2700 block of Wilson Avenue early Sunday morning.
At just before 5 a.m. on Sunday, September 18, 2022, KPD officers were advised that a man suffering from at least one gunshot wound arrived at the UT Medical Center via a personal vehicle.
The victim was pronounced dead following his arrival. A crime scene was located on Wilson Avenue.
The investigation is ongoing and remains in the preliminary stages at this time.
