Drug dealers caught with haul of crack cocaine and cash after pursuit are named and shamed.
Koyesh Miah, 35, and Novinur Chowdhury, 25 were both charged with possession with intent to supply a controlled class A drug.
The incident, which happened on Monday, December 27 2021 led to a police raid on a property connected to the defendants – resulting in over £3,000 in cash and drugs with a street value of around £5,000 seized.
The pair, both from Loughborough, appeared at Leicester Crown Court on Friday, February 3 for sentencing, after pleading guilty to all charges at a previous hearing.
Miah, of Queens Road, was handed a 12 month prison sentence suspended for two years, while Chowdhury, of Alan Moss Road, was sentenced to a total of two years and six months in jail.
