Dr. Karla Castillon Duran was arrested early Sunday morning.
She’s been charged with Driving While Intoxicated. Duran represents North Side ISD District 3 and was just elected to the board in 2023.
Duran’s bond was set at $1,000 and her arraignment hearing is scheduled for Oct. 3.
