DOJ gives Matt Gaetz’s ex-girlfriend immunity in exchange for sex-trafficking investigation testimony
Investigators granted the Florida congressman’s ex-girlfriend immunity from prosecution in exchange for information about the Justice Department’s sex-trafficking and obstruction enquiries.
The woman, who is yet be named over security concerns, testified before a grand jury last week.
She reportedly used to work on Capitol Hill with Gaetz in 2017 & 2018 where they begun an open relationship and traveled together.
Prosecutors are investigating whether Gaetz sex-trafficked a 17-year-old across state lines, which CBS reported the congressman’s ex-partner has related information about.
Gaetz has denied all wrongdoing.
