Disney Employee Among 8 Arrested In “Horrific” Child Porn Bust
Florida: The Polk County Sheriff’s Office is searching for children who may have been sexually victimized after detectives arrested 8 men, including a Disney employee, for child pornography.
“Operation May’s Monsters,” was an investigation by the computer crimes unit which focused on identifying those who possessed and distributed child pornography.
Detectives say the child pornography included thousands of photos and videos depicting babies, toddlers, and children being sexually battered, forced to engage in sex acts, or displayed in sexually explicit poses.
One of the arrestees, Paul Viel, 40, worked the Cosmic Rays Restaurant in Disney World. He faces 540 felony counts of child pornography.
“These videos and photographs are some of the most horrific my detectives have ever seen…” Sheriff Judd.
