Detectives Seek Help to Identify Suspect in Attempted Child Luring!
On Wednesday afternoon this week, at about 2:58 p.m., a student victim was walking in the area near Del Mar Ave and Burnham Ave., when she was approached by the unidentified suspect in a vehicle.
The suspect asked her if she would like to enter his vehicle.
An adult relative of the victim who was waiting to pick her up saw what happened and confronted the suspect with her camera phone before he drove off.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic male adult in his 50s with brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a blue button up shirt and a tan undershirt.
